Hi, I’m Hans!
I live in Oregon, Wisconsin with my wife Katie. We have three children: Sorin, Norah, and Christian. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a degree in physical and health education and in May 2013 I earned a masters degree in kinesiology, also from UW. I’m a certified personal trainer through the American College of Sports Medicine.
My goal is to help people pursue a healthy and active lifestyle. We know so much about the benefits of exercise, and yet so many people struggle to remain or get healthy. It’s a difficult journey alone, so I’m here to help. I work with individuals, small businesses, and clinics to prescribe exercise and coach people to achieve their health and fitness goals. You can find more about these services on my Hire Hans page.
I’ve competed in five full marathons and seven half marathons. My latest hobby has been training for triathlons and perfecting kettle bell and TRX workouts.
Lastly, I’m having a blast raising my family with Katie. Our children are so much fun. Sure, they keep us on our toes but they also challenge us in really good ways, make us laugh, and give us stories to tell.
I’ve been blogging for over eight years. Here’s some of my favorite posts:
